Samsung Galaxy S23 models are 100-150 euros more expensive than predecessors

The Samsung Galaxy S23 models are 100 to 150 euros more expensive in the Benelux than their predecessors. This is evident from awards shared by WinFuture journalist Roland Quandt. It is unknown why the prices are higher.

Quandt mentions the S23 prices of a Spanish retailer and says he is aware of various model prices in Germany and the Benelux. They seem to be around 10 euros below those of the Spanish retailer. The cheapest Galaxy S23 would be 949 euros in the Benelux, where the S22 is from 849 euros. The S23 Ultra starts at 1399 euros, compared to 1249 euros for the S22 Ultra at release.

The S23+ at the Spanish retailer starts at 1209 euros, which would indicate a price of 1199 euros in the Benelux. That is 150 euros more than the 1049 euros for which the S22 + was released. Quandt has an excellent track record of information about unannounced smartphones.

Samsung will hold an Unpacked event, where the presumably will present the phones. The South Korean manufacturer usually announces its phones at this time of year.
