Naughty Dog delays The Last of Us Part I PC version by three weeks

The PC version of The Last of Us Part I will no longer be released on March 3, but on March 28. The developer says he needs the extra time to improve the game. Naughty Dog released a PlayStation 5 version of the remake earlier last year.

Developer Naughty Dog says that the extra weeks of development time should ensure that the game ‘meets your and our requirements’. The company does not indicate which part of the port still needs improvement, so whether it is due to the performance of the game or too many bugs, for example. ‘Soon’ the company wants to announce more about the PC version of the remake.

The Last of Us was released in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and later also came to the PlayStation 4. In the game, Joel and Ellie survive a zombie outbreak. Sony last year announced a remake of the game, which was released for PlayStation 5 in September. This remake includes modernized gameplay. Naughty Dog said early December that the PC version would be released on March 3. Currently HBO Max shows a series about the game, the third episode of which appeared this week.
