Be quiet releases the Dark Power Pro 13. The series consists of two power supplies with capacities of 1300 and 1600 watts. The power supplies are 80 Plus Titanium certified and support Intel’s ATX 3.0 standard.
The Dark Power Pro 13 is a more powerful variant of the Dark Power 13, released earlier this year the first ATX 3.0 power supplies from the brand were released. Mainly the Pro series powers are more powerful; where the standard models still had 750, 850 or 1000W power, Be quiet now releases two models with 1300 and 1600W power.
Just like the previous models, both power supplies support ATX 3.0, the new standard from Intel where Tweakers recently a background article about wrote. The psu’s have a 12Vhpwr connector, but can also deliver lower power to less powerful graphics cards via six PCIe 6+2 connectors. The cabling is modular and is supplied with the psu. The power supplies, again like the standard Dark Power models, have an 80 Plus Titanium certification for an efficiency of 94.5 percent.
The models both have an aluminum housing and contain a frameless fan from Silent Wings, which is placed on top of a mesh grille. Users can combine the six 12V rails into a single rail for when more power is needed for overclocking, for example.
The devices will be available in stores from May 23 . The 1300W model costs 409.90 euros, the 1600W model 449.90. Both PSUs have a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
