AMD announces suggested retail prices and release dates for Ryzen 7000X3D CPUs

AMD has announced the release dates and suggested retail prices of its upcoming Ryzen 7000X3D desktop processors with 3D V-Cache. The two most expensive Ryzen 9 models will be available at the end of this month, while the eight-core Ryzen 7 7800X3D will be available in April.

AMD announces prices and availability of its Ryzen 7000X3D CPUs in a video on YouTube. The top model in that series, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D with sixteen Zen 4 cores, will be available on February 28 for $ 699. Converted and with VAT, this amounts to 775 euros. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D with twelve cores will be released on the same date for $ 599, which amounts to 664 euros with VAT.

The lowest positioned Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU will only be available later. This variant, which has eight cores, will be released on April 6. This Ryzen 7 model will then have a suggested retail price of $ 449. Converted and with VAT, that is 498 euros. AMD is not yet sharing official euro prices for the three desktop processors.

AMD announced three Ryzen 7000X3D processors for gamers in January at CES. The company then only said that the processors were released “in February”, but did not mention any concrete release dates or recommended prices. The Ryzen 7000X3D processors are all based on the Zen 4 architecture. The processors have an additional 64MB of stacked L3 cache compared to previous Ryzen 7000 CPUs.
