Chat app Telegram gets a built-in sticker maker. Users can press the plus sign in stickers to create their own sticker within the app’s interface. Until now, this was only possible via a bot or third-party apps.
The sticker maker can be found in the app for iOS and Android, reports Telegram. After pressing the plus sign, users are given an option to take a photo or choose one from the gallery. It is then possible to cut out an object, add a border and possibly add text or images. The sticker is then ready to be sent.
Telegram follows WhatsApp, which now also offers the option to create stickers from the app itself. For WhatsApp, this seems to only be available in the Android version for the time being. It works about the same, although the interface looks different. The chat apps have both supported stickers for years.
