Xiaomi subsidiary Poco has presented the F5 and F5 Pro. The devices both have a 6.67″ screen and a 64-megapixel camera, but the devices differ in computing power. The Poco F5 is the first globally available phone with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 CPU.
Poco, which falls under Xiaomi, will release the new devices later this month. The Poco F5 is the cheaper model. It has a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, the first mobile processor on TSMC’s 4nm process. a maximum speed of 2.91 GHz and has an Adreno GPU built in. The phone also has 8GB or 12GB of Lpddr5 memory and UFS 3.1 and will be available with 256GB of storage, regardless of the ram.
Although both devices have the same size, the resolution of the amoled screen differs. That of the F5 has 2400×1080 pixels and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The brightness is a maximum of 1000 nits.
The device has a 64-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.79.In addition, there is an ultra-wide angle camera on the phone with a resolution of 8 megapixels and an aperture of f/2.2. Finally, there is a macro camera with a 2-megapixel lens and an f/2.4 aperture. The front camera lens has a 16-megapixel resolution. The device can shoot 4K images with optical and electronic image stabilization.
The F5 measures 161.11×74.95×7.9mm and weighs 181 grams. The phone has a 5000mAh battery that can fast charge at 67W with the included battery. There is also a 3.5mm port on the phone and a dual SIM slot.
