Instagram is probably working on the possibility to make Reels longer

Instagram is believed to be working on the ability to create 10-minute Reels. Now the maximum for the Instagram videos is three minutes.

Developer Alessandro Paluzzi posted two screenshots from Instagram side by side, one showing the maximum length of ten minutes. Paluzzi publishes code-based in-apps more often about upcoming new features. Reels is Instagram’s answer to TikTok, where users can also upload videos up to ten minutes long. Instagram does not want to comment on the find.

Reels started as an Instagram feature for short videos in vertical format. TikTok has also increased the maximum length in steps in recent years, so that videos on TikTok can now have the length that many YouTube videos can also have. YouTube Shorts are limited to one minute.
